Amit Shah urges Delhi cops to improve image

Delhi Police must take steps to improve its public image because it is the most visible wing of the government, Union home minister Amit Shah said during the opening of the new police headquarters on Jai Singh Road on Thursday. Congratulating the capital’s police force on its spanking new headquarters inaugurated on the birth anniversary of India’s first home minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Shah said, “After 70 years, Delhi Police has got its own house. It was delayed, but it happened for good.”
