Mumbai’s monsoon retreat most delayed ever

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday declared withdrawal of south-west monsoon over Mumbai, the rest of Maharashtra and the country. This year saw the most delayed monsoon over Mumbai since the IMD began maintaining its record in 1975.
