Season’s greetings from neighbours choking Delhi

Though the number of farm fires reported from across Punjab registered a decrease of 50% as compared to Monday, the ambient air quality in the state remained in the “poor” category a day later. In Haryana, despite efforts by the state government, farmers continued to set crop residue on fire. This resulted in the air quality deteriorating to “very poor” in certain parts of the state.
