Q4 growth set to push FY24 GDP up by 8% or more: Sitharaman

Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman expects the March quarter's GDP growth to surpass 8%, building on the strong 8.4% growth in the Oct-Dec quarter. She emphasized the role of consumption in driving economic growth and clarified the recent income tax notices as part of digitization efforts. The official GDP data will be revealed on May 31.
