Executed in silence in Abu Dhabi: UP woman Shahzadi Khan's last wish, unheard pleas, and a family’s grief

An Indian woman, Shahzadi Khan, was executed in Abu Dhabi on February 15 for allegedly murdering a four-month-old infant. The Indian embassy was notified on February 28. Shahzadi’s family in Delhi was informed by the Centre. Despite efforts, including legal representation, Shahzadi was convicted. The family is set to attend her last rites in the UAE.
