Covid-19: Sudden spiral puts system under stress

The spiral in the Covid-19 cases in Delhi, owing to the multiple cases detected in the religious congregation at Nizamuddin, has for the first time put Delhi’s preparedness for facing the pandemic to test. Government officials say they have the manpower and infrastructure required to tackle the situation but the sudden escalation has led to the system coming under stress.
