Fraud clinic ran despite history of complaints, fines against it

The registration of Dr Neeraj Agarwal, owner of Agarwal Medical Centre in Delhi, has been cancelled by the Delhi Medical Council on three separate occasions due to complaints of medical negligence. Dr Agarwal, along with his wife and two others, was arrested by the police on suspicion of swindling around Rs 80 crore from patients by offering surgeries at low prices. The police have recovered several documents including bank statements, cheque books, and prescription slips, and are investigating the exact number of patients admitted to the hospital.
