On NRC-publication eve, 14 districts declared ‘sensitive’

Assam police on Thursday identified 14 districts as “sensitive” based on various parameters linked to the publication of the state’s final NRC on Saturday. The names of these districts were, however, withheld to prevent panic and rumours, officials said.
