E-tailers must collect waste they generate: CPCB

E-commerce platforms, Amazon and Flipkart, must fulfil their extended producer responsibility under the Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016, and need to put in place a system for collecting back the plastic waste generated due to the packaging of their products, Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) told National Green Tribunal (NGT) on Tuesday.
