Single CBSE Board exam likely, curtailed syllabus to continue

Even as CBSE mulls over reverting to the pre-Covid Board exams format, the rationalised syllabus will continue even for the 2022-23 session. While CBSE is reviewing the Covid-19 situation to come to a final decision on the format of the exams, the Board has shared with the NCERT its syllabus, which continues to be 30% less than what it was in 2019.
