‘Cattle runovers’ delaying 11 trains a day

The increasing stray cattle menace around railway tracks is taking a toll on the punctuality of trains. On an average 11 trains were delayed per day due to “cattle runover” on rail tracks during the past two months compared to only six trains getting impacted daily for the same reason during the last financial year (2021-22).
