Behind Statue of Unity, a tireless 93-year-old

Ram Vanji Sutar, 93-year-old man designed the 597-ft Statue of Unity, the world’s tallest. Born to poor parents in 1925 in Maharashtra’s Dhule, Sutar would pick up a pencil every day and draw random sketches or use a small chisel to carve out figures from pebbles. Sutar said that a “golden sparrow” spoke to him in his dream and asked him to follow his love for art.
