SC upholds Shahabuddin's life sentence for Bihar murders

A team of senior advocates appearing for Shahabuddin tried to divert the issue and sought to advance arguments but the CJI-led bench said, "There is nothing in these appeals and we will not interfere with the High Court judgment." The Supreme Court did not even seek a response from standing counsel Keshav Mohan, who appeared for the Bihar govt.
