Statue of Unity: All you need to know

Vallabhbhai Patel whose statue has been named 'Statue of Unity' was India’s first deputy prime minister. On Wednesday India celebrates his 143rd birth anniversary. It is located on the river island called Sadhu Bet near Rajpipla, Gujarat. It is designed by Padma Shri & Padma Bhushan recipient Ram Vanji Sutar and the total height is 208m.
