LS passes Bill for legal tag to 1,700 colonies

The Lok Sabha on Thursday passed a Bill to grant ownership rights to residents of over 1,700 unauthorised colonies in Delhi with Union housing and urban affairs minister Hardeep Singh Puri saying the government would deal with the issue of the capital’s 65 affluent unauthorised clusters later.
