The nomination of tribal welfare minister Arjun Munda as one of the three central observers for the legislature party meeting in Gujarat caught the attention of many as it was seen as BJP’s bid to acknowledge its overwhelming performance in the state’s tribal-dominated regions where it won 24 of the 27 seats reserved for scheduled tribes.
