MP Congress neta arrested for ‘kill Modi’ remarks, sent to jail

Former Madhya Pradesh minister Raja Pateria was arrested in his home in Damoh district early Tuesday for his alleged “kill Modi” remarks and a court remanded him in jail. The Congress functionary’s remarks, which he said were “misinterpreted”, have been condemned by parties across the spectrum, including his own. PCC chief Kamal Nath wished PM Narendra Modi a long life and showcaused Pateria, asking him to explain why he shouldn’t be expelled from the party.
