Delhi weather: Mercury slips to lowest of season, AQI turns poor

Delhi recorded its lowest minimum temperature of the season, with the mercury dropping to 16.4 degrees Celsius. This is the lowest minimum temperature for the city in the first half of October since 1962. The maximum temperature on the same day was 34.7 degrees Celsius. The city's air quality also worsened, with the air quality index (AQI) reaching 220, considered "poor". The AQI is expected to remain poor for the next six days.
