RapidX shift: Women to play greater role than men

Women are set to play a significant role in the operations of the RapidX train services in India's rapid rail transit system. The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has ensured equal participation of women in various roles, including train operators, station control, and customer care. The women employees have received training and are excited to drive the trains at high speeds. The Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor, which will provide employment and education opportunities, is expected to be operational by 2025 and will help reduce congestion and air pollution.
