She had rejected the advances of constable Surender Singh Rana and threatened to tell his wife about his behavior, leading him to plan her murder. Rana used a specific phone to make calls to Yadav's family, posing as her lover. Police are searching for a woman who was seen with Rana and his brother-in-law, creating the false impression that Yadav was alive. They have requested three days' remand for Rana to recover the phone.
